Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mission Critical- Project Manager to lead client-facing, multi-discipline data center projects across multiple U.S. locations.

The role emphasizes directing engineering deliverables, safety, budget, and schedule while coordinating teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of PM experience in AEC/EPC contexts, with exposure to large-scale projects and complex coordination.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience for an AEC/EPC/Engineering Consulting company.
  • Data centers, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, food & beverage manufacturing plants, aerospace components manufacturing plants, etc.
  • BS in Engineering or Construction Management (or related) from accredited program

Responsibilities

  • Mostly a client facing role: Direct interaction with clients to provide direction for prioritization of internal engineering design deliverables.
  • Plan, organize and direct engineering projects; including, the overall safety, cost, schedule and quality of assigned projects.
  • Ensure that the project review process and other quality control guidelines are followed.
  • Establish project teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines, ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
  • This position requires an experienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Executes complex assignments requiring the use of advanced techniques, resulting in the development of new or improved processes, equipment and/or technological methods.
  • Develop and evaluate plans for major projects.
  • May assess feasibility or soundness of proposed applications when data is insufficient, or testing is advisable.
  • May coordinate departmental or divisional project studies, reports or project design assignments.
  • Progressive design and project management responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.
  • Regularly meets and corresponds with clients or outside personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
