Position: Sr. Project Manager - Traffic

KCI Technologies seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead Traffic projects across Florida, with flexibility for Tampa or Orlando locations.

The Sr. Project Manager – Traffic will serve as a Traffic Subject Matter Expert, providing technical guidance on TSMO, traffic operations, signal design, and ITS design.

This role requires:

1. Leading proposal preparation, including scope, schedule, fee, contract management, and billing. Overseeing plans, technical specifications, quantity takeoffs, and estimates per state standards.
2. Managing delivery of traffic design packages, coordinating multiple disciplines.
3. Staying current with latest technologies, trends, and practices to maintain leadership in the field.
4. Networking with FDOT, municipalities, community districts, and consultants, including pursuit strategies and proposal writing.
5. Developing skills in related disciplines like ITS, Transportation, Communications Infrastructure.
6. Managing and developing a team of designers, CADD technicians, and engineers.

Preferred qualifications include 15+ years of relevant experience, FDOT project leadership, a Master’s Degree, PTOE Certification, and Florida PE License.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 9-14 years of experience, professional certification preferred, and passing pre-employment screenings.

Performance expectations involve training, mentoring, client relationship development, safety compliance, project management, and regular reporting.
