Job summary

United Site Services in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives, align owners and teams, and deliver programs on time and on scope.

Primary Purpose

The Senior Project Manager drives the planning, coordination, and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives to enable enterprise-wide outcomes. This role partners with initiative owners, business leaders, and execution teams to ensure project structures, milestones, risks, and interdependencies are proactively managed and transparently reported. Through disciplined execution practices and stakeholder alignment, the Senior Project Manager ensures initiatives are delivered on time, on scope, and with sustained impact.


Essential Functions
  • Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and workstreams across multiple strategic initiatives
  • Monitor and manage project milestones, risks, and issues, ensuring visibility and timely escalation to senior stakeholders
  • Apply standardized project management tools, templates, and frameworks to drive consistency, governance alignment, and disciplined execution across initiatives
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of centralized documentation, including status reports, decision logs, risk registers, and project health indicators
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including planning agendas, capturing outcomes, and following up on critical actions
  • Partner with program and portfolio leaders to align initiative progress with enterprise reporting and governance expectations
  • Prepare and deliver updates, dashboards, and summaries for senior leaders and project governance forums
    Manage consulting partners and external vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to project goals
  • Identify and coordinate cross-functional interdependencies, ensuring alignment and continuity across workstreams
  • Recommend and implement improvements to project practices, tools, and workflows to enhance delivery efficiency
  • Ensure seamless data integration, process alignment, and system transitions
  • Establish and oversee project governance frameworks, including status reporting, risk mitigation, and communication plans
  • Ensure consistency in project management methodologies and leverage best practices for integration, execution, and change management
  • Serve as a trusted execution advisor across the initiative landscape, reinforcing project health and accountability
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the project management function.
  • Travel requirement is approximately 25%
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Proficient in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Monday.com) for planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Skilled in identifying, managing, and escalating risks, dependencies, and timeline impacts to ensure delivery discipline
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities to manage documentation, reporting, and project health indicators
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills to align diverse stakeholders and drive execution
  • Ability to balance strategic context with detailed execution while adapting to shifting priorities and business needs
  • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business landscape.
  • Familiarity with portfolio governance processes and enterprise planning frameworks; PMP or Agile certification a plus

Salary Range

$105,600.00 – $158,400.00 / year


Pay Transparency Statement

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
