Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and deliver multiple building automation projects of varying complexity, improving safety and efficiency across major facilities.

You will oversee procurement, manage subcontractors, track progress, and coordinate billing and commissioning resources to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or state-recognized GED.
• 3+ years of project management experience in the HVAC controls industry.
• Ability to read and understand HVAC/MEP drawings and specifications including electrical, network and control wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver multiple, simultaneous building automation projects of varying complexity to create safer environments in hospitals, universities and industrial facilities.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and materials and participate in project cost reviews for financial efficiency.
• Assist Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors and coordinating activities to align with project scope, schedules and fiscal requirements while ensuring safety.
• Conduct orientations for project technicians and provide necessary documentation (scope of work, drawings, project contacts)
• Diligently track resources and progress; document schedule deviations and pursue change orders
• Manage project-specific billing coordination with accounting and Operations Manager; schedule commissioning resources and ensure close-out documentation.

As a Senior Project Manager, y our fiscal and managerial oversight across all project facets ensures client satisfaction, effective resource allocation, and safe,timelycompletion of projects.

As a Senior Project Manager , you will:

• Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions,establishingcomprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team whileidentifyingcrucial installation timelines
• Oversee the procurement of supplies and materialsrequiredfor project completion, and activelyparticipatein project cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency
• Assist the Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with the project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring adherence to safety regulations
• Conduct orientations for project technicians,providingall necessary project documentation such as scope of work, technical drawings, project contacts, and application-engineered diagrams
• Diligently track project resources and progress, documenting any eventsimpactingthe schedule, scope, and overall efficiency;identifyand pursue opportunities for project-specific change orders
• Manage project-specific billing coordination with theaccountingteam and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources,expeditethe return of mark-ups for as-built development, and ensuretimelycompletion of project-specific close-out documentation

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
• 3+years of projectmanagement experience in the HVACcontrolsor related industry
• Must be able todemonstrate:
• Knowledge and understanding of HVAC Building Automation Systems
• Theability to read and understand MEP drawings and specificationsandelectrical, network,and control wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocolssuch asEthernet, Modbus,andBACnet
• Experience withMicrosoft Officeand Microsoft Project
• Must be 21 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements toparticipatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering D egree
• 8+ yearsofproject management experience in the HVAC controls industry

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
