This full-time, on-site role requires leading project planning, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, tracking progress, and ensuring accordance with codes and standards while maintaining client satisfaction and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• PMP or PE certification is beneficial.

Role Description

The Healthcare Sr. Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange County and San Diego, CA, responsible for overseeing MEP engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role manages project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinates multidisciplinary design teams, and serves as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include leading project planning meetings, tracking deliverables, resolving project issues, and ensuring technical quality and compliance with codes and standards. The Sr. Project Manager also supports resource allocation, mentors project team members, prepares status reports, and contributes to process improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in project leadership and coordination, including Project Management skills for complex, multi-stakeholder engineering initiatives.
• Experience with Expeditor and Expediting responsibilities to ensure timely flow of information, approvals, and materials across project phases.
• Proficiency in Inspection activities to verify work quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Strong Logistics Management capabilities to plan, sequence, and coordinate project resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are beneficial.
• Prior experience managing Healthcare MEP or building systems projects, preferably in consulting or design-build environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
