Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead large, complex projects or programs with multiple sub-projects, ensuring end-to-end delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

You will apply PMBOK methodologies, manage budgets, stakeholder relationships in a matrix environment, and coordinate with PMO and IT product managers to remove barriers and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5+ years PM experience OR 7+ years PM experience.
• Familiarity with PMBOK and large/complex project delivery.
• Experience tracking budgets and expenditures.
• Strong negotiation and political savvy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; meeting facilitation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with SDLC and HCSC delivery models (OWF, Scrum, XP).

Being accountable for end-to-end delivery of a project or program, including managing the cost / budget, schedule & dependencies; ensuring the project scope is aligned with the stated business objectives. Providing a blend of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development and implementation of strategic it projects. Building a sufficient level of knowledge of it products and lob to enable targeted probing of delivery feasibility and conflicts with other projects. Setting and managing customer expectations; managing and escalating issues and changes. Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders to obtain project objectives while working in a matrix project environment. Driving deliverables and activities with pdl and it product managers or their program manager by removing barriers, and escalating risk/issues.
