Job summary

Momentum Worldwide in New York is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, award-winning delivery. You will author and manage detailed project plans, coordinate internal kickoff meetings, and allocate resources across teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of project management experience in an agency environment, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and PM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and project scheduling/web-based PM tools.
• Strong interdepartmental leadership and understanding of production-related project processes (print, digital, broadcast, integrated content, live events).
• Professional, diligent, and proactive team management; mentoring direct reports.
• Self-motivated, organized, and proactive with excellent time-management and communication skills.
• Cool, calm, collected, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Understand collective resource needs across projects and manage resource allocation, alleviating conflicts and coordinating flex staffing.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and compliance with agency processes.
• Communicate risk and mitigation to senior teammates with executive-summary skills.
• Track assets through release to production, ensuring approvals prior to release.
• Track costs, time reporting, fee applications, resource assignments, and project projections; manage variances.
• Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering professional development and an environment of respect and partnership.
• Support Momentum’s values and culture.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
