Job summary

MPI, a leading Wisconsin builder backed by a major regional brand, is seeking a Sr./Project Manager to independently lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in a growing Wisconsin operation.

You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and reporting, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams, mentor junior staff, and help drive safety, profitability, and quality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
  • Ability to independently lead building projects without extensive oversight.
  • Experience delivering ground-up and large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contracts knowledge.
  • Confident communicator in client-facing situations.
  • Experience coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams.
  • Healthcare, education, mixed-use, corporate, commercial, or institutional construction preferred.
  • Adaptable to a growing organization; proactive and initiative-driven.

Job Description

The Sr./ Project Manager will:

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr./ Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Ability to independently lead building and construction projects without extensive oversight.
  • Experience delivering ground-up and large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, buyout, forecasting, scheduling, and contracts.
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable in client-facing situations.
  • Experience collaborating with field teams, owners, and design professionals.
  • Background in healthcare, education, mixed-use, corporate, commercial, or institutional construction preferred.
  • Comfortable operating within a growing organization where adaptability and initiative are valued.
