RTX is seeking a Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) professional for an onsite role with Pratt & Whitney. You will engage in design, development, and in-service support of compressor systems across commercial and military engines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with IPT leads, leading supplier resources, and participating in engine build/test validation while leveraging Agile practices and tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet and SAP.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience OR Master's with 3+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior Project Engineering experience or equivalent
• Prior demonstrated successful experience utilizing Agile methodology
• Previous gas turbine compressor experience
• Trained CAM & Proficiency with Teamcenter, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or other scheduling software and SAP
• The ability to craft clear communication and build positive relationships
• Demonstrated ability to organize and execute several components of complex tasks

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)

Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

Role Type

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
