Job summary

QPS Employment Group is partnering with a global manufacturer in Hartford, WI to identify a Senior Project Engineer. This role owns projects from concept through production, working with highly engineered components across aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, and industrial sectors.

You will lead NPI initiatives, drive tooling and process development, and collaborate across customers, manufacturing, quality, and operations to ensure successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1–5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Sheet metal manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting product launches, process development, tooling, or manufacturing engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product introduction and manufacturing projects from design through production approval.
• Drive tooling, fixtures, gauging, process development, and production routing activities.
• Collaborate with customers, manufacturing teams, quality, and operations to ensure successful project launches.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through production while working with highly engineered components serving aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, and industrial customers.

Senior Project Engineer Responsibilities
