Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Melrose Park, IL seeks an experienced project engineer/manager to oversee the operational plan for engineering projects, including design, specification, scheduling, and cost estimation. You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and resolve issues to ensure successful completion.

The role emphasizes preparing designs, controlling schedules and budgets, and selecting materials and staff when applicable.

• Identify and assemble resources necessary to complete the project.
• Develop engineering standards, designs, work specs, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and selecting materials, equipment, staff and contractors when applicable.

Job Summary

Oversees the operational plan for engineering projects, encompassing design, specification, scheduling, cost estimation, and coordinating resources, while monitoring progress and resolving issues to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.


• Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays


• Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project


• If applicable: Peparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications, developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
