CBRE is seeking an On-Site Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager in the United States. Responsibilities include advanced administrative support, PCO log management, cost control coordination, and weekly review meetings with the general contractor and project manager to ensure project controls and dashboards are up to date.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-5 years in construction, strong MS Office skills, and solid math abilities to handle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant construction experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative support to Owners Reps and Project Managers.
  • Set up PCO log and process with cost controller and site PM.
  • Review the Contractor’s PCO log and changes with PM/owner's representative.
  • Determine funding source allocation and log future PCOs.
  • Attend weekly review meetings with general contractor and PM.
  • Verify dashboard updates and update cost benchmarks and controls data center costs.
  • Coordinate LON reviews and close out LONs.
  • Assist with regional onboarding and with bid/tender documents.

About The Role

As a On-Site Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager you be responsible for providing advanced administrative support to the project management team. This includes documentation preparation, escalation for commitment, financial modeling, financial reconciliations, and reporting.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

The salary is 110-135k.

What You’ll Do
  • Services and Deliverables. Contractor will provide the following Services and Deliverables to
  • Provide administrative and functional support to Owners Reps and Project
  • As directed, liaise with general contractor’s cost controller and site based project manager to set up PCO log and process;
  • Review/analyze the Contractor’s PCO log;
  • Review changes with on-site project manager and/or owner’s representative;
  • Assess requirements for Contractor review – Full or Basic and allocate to remote resource if required (refer to Matrix for thresholds);Categorize reason for change with onsite project manager and/or owner’s representative;
  • Determine funding source allocation;
  • Attend weekly review meeting with general contractor and project manager;
  • Verify Update Dashboard accuracy and ensure updates are completed; update project controls data center capital cost benchmarks;
  • Identify and log and future PCOs as it informs the FFC Letter of Notifications (“LON”)
  • Liaise with general contractor’s cost controller and owner’s representative to ensure the LON process is being followed; review and help maintain LON log;
  • Review with on-site project manager as required;
  • Assess requirement for additional cost estimating support – full or basic and allocate to remote resource if required providing all necessary; Issue out comments to general contractor and project manager;
  • Coordinate LON reviews and approvals; Close out LONs as required;
  • Attend weekly review meeting with general contractor and project manager;
  • Assist with regional onboarding:
  • Preparing bid/tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with thearchitect and/or the client;
  • Provisioning and Services Location.
