Overview
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the strategy and execution of new customer‑facing delivery offerings within Amazon's Sub‑Same Day delivery network. This role owns the end‑to‑end program lifecycle—from pilot design through network‑wide scale—for initiatives that introduce new speed, precision, and scheduling capabilities to customers. It is a VP‑level visibility role that shapes how Amazon evolves its fastest delivery experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the expansion strategy and roadmap for new customer delivery offerings, including site sequencing, operating model configuration decisions, and scale decision inputs for leadership.
- Lead the economic sustainability workstream—partnering with finance to model cost scenarios, track pilot economics against plan, and develop the investment framework that informs go/no‑go decisions.
- Drive the cross‑functional program cadence across fulfillment operations, delivery operations, science teams, and tech teams to ensure capability readiness aligns with launch timelines.
- Own the narrative for leadership reviews—synthesizing operational performance, customer insights, and financial projections into clear recommendations on expansion pace and investment trade‑offs.
- Define and manage the customer insights integration plan—coordinating quantitative lift analyses, qualitative behavioral studies, and downstream impact assessments to inform which CX trade‑offs are acceptable at scale.
- Develop the decision framework for operating model adjustments and cost levers based on customer data maturity and economic thresholds.
- Identify and drive resolution of structural blockers to scale—such as operational variability, science model deployment timelines, and capacity constraints at expansion sites.
- Build mechanisms to ensure learnings from pilot sites transfer effectively to expansion sites, reducing launch instability and accelerating time‑to‑operational maturity.
