Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior HR Program Manager to join the Marketing HR team and help shape the future of cloud computing through excellence in people programs. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, drive end-to-end delivery, and leverage AI to streamline talent, compensation, and PXT projects.

The role emphasizes change management, data-driven decisions, and partnering with both technical and business teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data to improve results.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and maintain project documentation, including workflows, use cases, and SOPs.
  • Lead the implementation of new tools and processes, including user acceptance testing and training material development.
  • Track and manage project milestones, proactively identifying risks and communicating status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Execute change management activities by creating comprehensive user communications, training materials, and adoption tracking mechanisms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize feedback, and drive consensus on solutions.
  • Analyze metrics to measure program effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements across talent management and change management processes.
  • Use AI to help simplify processes across talent, compensation and PXT projects.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of change management experience
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
