Salesforce is seeking a Sr. Production Engineer to join its Enterprise Technology & Infrastructure team. This role involves hands-on execution of live streaming for company-wide events, including All-Hands meetings and executive communications, with responsibilities spanning pre-event planning, real-time troubleshooting, and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate will manage multi-channel streaming, coordinate with AV vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure seamless technical delivery. They will also be responsible for platform operations, incident management, system integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives, including process engineering, platform design, and quality assurance.
The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in live event production, broadcast engineering, or related technical roles, with proven expertise in professional streaming platforms and real-time troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of video streaming protocols (RTMP, NDI, SRT), encoding hardware/software, CDN concepts, and monitoring tools is required. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, is essential. Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and SRE practices is a plus.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $148,500–$223,900 annually, with higher ranges in select cities.
