The Timken Company seeks a Technical Lead for its SNAP gas products, responsible for pre-commissioning and commissioning processes. This role demands technical expertise and involves extensive travel across the USA, Canada, and Mexico to support customers and improve product quality.
Join a team that applies its technical expertise and knowledge to ensure SNAP gas products are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be the technical lead responsible for offering Service, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of Honeywell SNAP (Sonic Auto Nozzle Prover) product development and service. You will complete the SNAP pre-commissioning and final commissioning process in adherence to Honeywell-approved practices. Also, you will for part of the Honeywell Gas Metrology technical team that provides service and support to existing installations and customers across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete SNAP / Provers pre/final commissioning across assigned geographic areas.
• Complete Bell Strapping and certification processes
• Complete SNAP / Provers site Calibrations / Certification process
• Provide SNAP Customer support/field Problem Resolution (Hardware and software)
• Support SNAP training at customer sites
• Provide phone product support
• Perform statistical Data analysis to drive resolution to problems / drive development
• Drive Continuous Product improvement using data from field learnings
• Drive resolution to SNAP field product technical issues using gas metrology fundamentals
• Manage assigned customer accounts using Project management tools
• Facilitates/Supports team lean initiatives and improvements.
• Follow established EHS policies and Risk assessment processes.
This role requires 80% of travel within the USA, MEX, and CANADA You will complete the SNAP pre-commissioning and final commissioning process in adherence to Honeywell-approved practices. Also, you will for part of the Honeywell Gas Metrology technical team that provides service and support to existing installations and customers across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
