Amazon Leo seeks a Senior Product Manager – Technical to own and drive internal beta testing as we expand to new territories and introduce new hardware. You will build and execute the tester experience roadmap end to end—from interest and eligibility through device ordering, installation, to active testing and customer support.

Sr. Product Manager Technical - International Expansion, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Technical to own and drive internal beta testing as we expand to new territories and introduce new hardware. In this role, you will build and execute the product roadmap for the tester experience end to end—from interest and eligibility qualification, through device ordering and installation, to active testing, feedback, and customer support. You will own the hardware testing plan for each territory, defining which devices and configurations go into beta, the quantity and device mix required, and user journeys to be tested. The results of beta testing will be a key input into product roadmaps and Go/No-Go decisions.

Key job responsibilities

• Write clear requirements and partner closely with experience product teams, engineering, hardware, network, field integration testing, legal, security, and field-service teams to turn them into a working beta.
• Translate technical constraints into product decisions, make and defend scope trade-offs, and stand-up country-specific operational processes.
• Drive structured testing of new hardware in real-world conditions, coordinate the employee and customer base needed for end-to-end validation, own tester recruitment, qualification, and onboarding at scale.
• Synthesize telemetry and tester feedback into a prioritized backlog of product, process, and hardware improvements.

Success in this role requires strong data-driven judgment and the ability to influence across a large, distributed organization operating under high ambiguity and shifting timelines. You will define the metrics and milestones that indicate launch readiness and use them to drive decisions and unblock dependencies. You will provide regular status and readiness updates to leadership and represent country expansion and hardware beta programs in Go/No-Go reviews. The ideal candidate is a builder who is comfortable creating the beta playbook for a new market and a new device from scratch, thrives at the intersection of hardware, network, and customer experience, and is energized by pioneering new products to customers in regions where they have never existed before.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems
• Experience writing product requirements documents (PRFAQs, PRDs, functional specs) and driving them through engineering delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
• Experience launching products or programs in new international markets
• Background in satellite, telecommunications, networking, connectivity, or other hardware-plus-network products
• Experience managing hardware product lifecycles, including new-device introduction, testing, provisioning, installation/field operations, device tracking, and reverse logistics
• Experience owning hardware inventory planning and roadmaps across multiple programs and regions
• Experience running beta, early-access, or pilot programs, including tester recruitment, onboarding, and feedback synthesis
• Experience defining and operating Go/No-Go readiness gates for phased launches
• Experience coordinating field-service partners, supply chain, and operational logistics at scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
