Job summary

Scripps News in Atlanta seeks a Senior Producer for a full-time, temporary role (approximately 3 months) to manage all pre-production and daily production for assigned show(s). Position is onsite in Atlanta with a strong emphasis on coordination and creative timing.

The candidate should have 8+ years of experience in entertainment shows and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise with producers and talent throughout production cycles.

• Oversee morning voice-over and talent needs
• Fact-checking and oversight of final product before feed

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee allscheduling of segments with producers;
• Manage show boards;
• Work with Co-Exec Producer to stack and plan daily shows;
• Communicate creative and timing needs to producers;
• Oversee the scheduling of all shoots, editing and airing of pieces;
• Support the Co-Exec Producer in oversight of all studio/stand-up elements as they relate to each segment;
• Oversee and produce elements of sweeps programming and weekend episodes;
• Workwith other Senior Producers to manage content flow andbuild each weekend show
• Pitchand produce top of the show elements for daily broadcast;-managing the in-studioaspects of the show as it relates to talent stand-ups and segments;
• Oversee all morning voice-over and talent needs;
• Fact-checking and oversight of final product before the feed;
• Workwith the other Senior Producers to manage content flow;
