Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company seeks a Senior Producer for a full-time, temporary role based in Atlanta. You will lead pre-production and daily production for assigned show(s), orchestrating scheduling, boards, and coordination with the Co-Exec Producer.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor degree and have 8+ years of entertainment-show experience, with strong communication skills to manage multi-segment broadcasts.

Scripps News is seeking a Senior Producer for a Full-Time, Temporary (approx 3 months) position managing all pre-production and daily production of assigned show(s). The ideal candidates resides in Atlanta.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Oversee allscheduling of segments with producers;
• Manage show boards;
• Work with Co-Exec Producer to stack and plan daily shows;
• Communicate creative and timing needs to producers;
• Oversee the scheduling of all shoots, editing and airing of pieces;
• Support the Co-Exec Producer in oversight of all studio/stand-up elements as they relate to each segment;
• Oversee and produce elements of sweeps programming and weekend episodes;
• Workwith other Senior Producers to manage content flow andbuild each weekend show
• Pitchand produce top of the show elements for daily broadcast;-managing the in-studioaspects of the show as it relates to talent stand-ups and segments;
• Oversee all morning voice-over and talent needs;
• Fact-checking and oversight of final product before the feed;
• Workwith the other Senior Producers to manage content flow;

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor degree preferred
• 8+ years experience with entertainment show
