The Sr. Process Manager II - Construction Procurement role at Micron is an outstanding chance to lead and improve top-tier processes that promote operational excellence and compliance in construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for and consistently enhance the entire construction procurement cycle, covering sourcing readiness, requisitioning, purchase order management, supplier onboarding, buyout tracking, contract administration, invoicing, payment coordination, change order handling, and closeout procedures.
- Design, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, workflow diagrams, RACI models, decision matrices, approval paths, and governance controls for construction procurement activities.
- Partner with Construction Procurement, contract management, logistics, Finance, Legal, project controls, and construction collaborators to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable process solutions.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, regulatory risks, unclear handoffs, duplicated work, and automation opportunities across procurement and contract administration workflows.
- Support SAP/Procore process integration by defining business requirements, process triggers, data handoffs, user roles, reporting needs, and workflow controls between procurement and project execution systems.
- Establish process benchmarks, compliance controls, performance dashboards, and governance routines to monitor process adoption, workload trends, transaction quality, cycle time, and issue resolution.
- Develop user-facing training materials, job aids, onboarding guides, templates, and communication plans to support consistent adoption of procurement processes and systems.
- Lead initiatives to develop and transform processes from current-state assessment through future-state invention, partner alignment, implementation, training, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
- Support supplier governance by improving process clarity for supplier classification, sourcing compliance, contract deliverables, supplier communication, invoice routing, and procurement documentation requirements.
- Provide practical problem-solving support for process blocking issues, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and governance decisions related to construction procurement execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Finance or a related area
- 7+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Construction procurement, procurement operations, contract administration, end-to-end supply network coordination, capital project delivery, commercial management, process improvement and governance
- Experience assessing business processes, identifying gaps, establishing controls, and driving process improvement through SOPs, process maps, RACI matrices, governance frameworks, training, metrics, and adoption strategies.
- Practical understanding of procurement and contract lifecycle procedures, including sourcing, requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier management, invoicing, payments, contracts, and documentation governance.
- Strong collaborator leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Construction, Project Controls, Contract Administration, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with enterprise systems and project delivery platforms such as SAP, Procore, procurement reporting tools, workflow solutions, or similar technologies.
- AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working is required such as Cloud Assist, Code Assist, Roo Code, Agent, LLM, LLMs, Large Language Models, AI-Enabled, AI Assisted, AI Augmented, AI Supported, Agentic AI, Agentic Solution, Generative AI, AI Assistant, Artificial Intelligence, Using AI, Applying AI, Maximising AI,, sing Artificial Intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in MBA, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field of study
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPM or other procurement certifications
- Construction procurement or commercial management experience on large capital projects, semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or complex infrastructure programs.
- Experience supporting SAP/Procore integration, procurement digital transformation, workflow automation, reporting, or process governance in a project environment.
- Familiarity with contract change management, invoice validation, retention, audit documentation, closeout, supplier segmentation, and construction procurement controls.
- Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, project management, procurement, or supply chain certifications are a plus.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$96,000.00 - $173,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
