OneSource Professional Search is partnering with a privately held refinery in Alabama to hire a Senior Process Engineer. This senior-level role supports Operations and Engineering with hands-on process troubleshooting, design reviews, and capital project development.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8+ years of refinery or petrochemical experience, strong collaboration skills, and a track record of improving safety, reliability, and profitability.

This is a senior-level technical role for an experienced refinery engineer who can serve as a go-to resource for Operations and Engineering, providing hands-on process support, troubleshooting, project development, and technical leadership across the facility.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and process optimization experience.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities that improve profitability, reliability, or reduce operating costs.
• Working knowledge of process simulation, design, or other refinery engineering software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with Operations, maintenance, engineering, and management.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license.
