Job summary

Cadence is seeking a Software Engineer to develop AI models for electrothermal, electromagnetic, and structural simulations, combining research in deep learning with practical product integration to improve simulation accuracy and performance in complex physics scenarios.

The role focuses on building AI models, monitoring emerging AI technologies, and leading research on generalization and interpretability of large models, then translating advances into Cadence products.

Qualifications

• Strong intellectual curiosity in artificial intelligence and up-to-date knowledge of advances in deep learning, including large language models and generative models.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and familiarity with autoencoders, Transformers, Fourier neural operators, and diffusion models.
• Experience in semiconductor chip design or 3D-IC technologies is preferred.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++.
• Publications in leading AI, computational science, or engineering conferences and journals are preferred.
