Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an IPT Lead with hardware design and manufacturing experience in Linthicum, MD. The role requires leading an engineering team to transition designs to production for a high-visibility program, interfacing across factory, engineering, and program management groups.

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical engineering (or a Master’s) and a Secret clearance, plus experience in SAP and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in electrical or mechanical engineering with 8 years of industry experience, or Masters with 6 years of industry experience.
• Active and current Secret government clearance
• 6-month minimum experience with hardware design and/or hardware integration & test

These positions are located in Linthicum, MD.This IPT Lead will be required to lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for a very important sector priority program with many time-critical elements and high management visibility. They will interface with personnel in the factory test cells, Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance. In addition, they will brief internal and potentially external customer leadership on progress.The selected candidate will perform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
