Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex PRIMERA and Artificial Lift Systems projects from order entry to delivery in Houston. You’ll serve as primary cross-functional lead coordinating engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and service delivery to meet scope, schedule and budget.

In this role you’ll drive risk mitigation, secure customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with contractual and quality requirements across multiple product lines and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or service delivery.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex PRIMERA and Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) projects from order entry through customer delivery. This role serves as the primary point of integration between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, procurement, and service delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and quality requirements.

The position provides project leadership across multiple product lines and manufacturing locations, driving alignment, risk mitigation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or service delivery.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing schedules, risks, action plans, and project deliverables.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Artificial Lift Systems, AccessESP, Completions, or Manufacturing.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer, operational, and financial objectives.
