Job Title: Sr. Premium Auditor - Remote

This position involves performing audits on Property / Casualty Commercial Line policies to ensure accurate premiums, classifications, and exposures, in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The role requires managing audits, interacting with clients, resolving disputes, and maintaining technical expertise in insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct physical and virtual audits for Commercial Lines policies, reviewing business operations and financial data.
• Schedule and optimize territory and inventory, including travel to insureds’ locations.
• Notify underwriting teams of any changes post-audit.
• Resolve audit disputes, prepare amended audits, and ensure billing accuracy.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Utilize audit management systems and develop technical knowledge of company policies and insurance business.
• Lead or assist in audit projects, deliver technical presentations, and train team members.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in insurance manuals, audit procedures, and computer tools like Excel.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to climb stairs and carry 20 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.

Education & Experience

• College degree in Insurance, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a physical Premium Auditor.
• Completion of APA 91 and APA 92 desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: USD $72,000 - $109,000 annually, based on location and experience. Benefits include health care, retirement plans, stock purchase, tuition assistance, and paid time off.
