Sr. Power BI Developer

CGS is seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team in supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency.

Skills and attributes for success:

1. Build Data Analytics enterprise models using Microsoft’s Power BI
2. Develop tabular, multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards
3. Develop self-service models, and data analytics using Power BI service
4. Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and service (Power BI, Flow, Cortana, etc.)
5. Experience working with data gateway, data integration, self-service data preparation
6. Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
7. Assist business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models
8. Experience in requirement analysis, design, and prototyping
9. Strong understanding of Data Analytics application security layer models
10. Experience with ESRI or similar geographical mapping systems and tools is desired
11. Experience working with Government personnel at the CTO or SES level.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
2. 2-4 years of development experience in Data Analytic technologies
3. Knowledge in Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Microsoft Azure
4. Strong experience in SQL and RDBMS technologies
5. Experience working in Agile project deliveries and delivering to tight timescales
6. Web API Experience
7. Knowledge of Azure DevOps (VSTS)
8. ETL, SSAS, and SSIS experience
9. SSRS Reporting knowledge

Ideally, you will also have:

1. Experience with Government software development policies and procedures
2. Client-facing communication experience
3. Federal Agency issued security clearance
