Business Analyst – Public Sector

The Business Analyst will work closely with a Project Manager to design and refine business processes for the Office of the Treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue. The role focuses on current‑state process modeling, requirements definition, future‑state visioning, and testing support for an online constituent platform and related tax management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead current‑state process modeling and data flow design for real estate, revenue and tax business areas.
• Define future‑state processes and platform requirements in partnership with subject‑matter experts.
• Track implementation against requirements, process flows and testing plans.
• Guide cross‑functional testing and ensure quality of test scripts and scenarios.
• Collaborate with real estate, revenue and tax office teams to execute testing under BA leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience; public sector preferred.
• Strong process modeling, requirements definition and test design skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing priorities.
