You will perform L10/system-level validation on complete server platforms, bring-up servers, and develop automation scripts using Python and Shell; use BMC/Redfish for management.

Collaboration with hardware, firmware, BIOS, and system software teams is essential to drive root-cause analysis and improve reliability.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Validation Engineer with 12+ years of experience in server platform validation, system integration, hardware/firmware/software debugging, and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in L10/system-level platform validation, validating complete server platforms, performing server bring-up, developing automation scripts, and driving complex failures through root-cause analysis and resolution.

This role requires hands-on experience with Python/Shell automation, BMC and Redfish-based server management, Linux troubleshooting, and storage/PCIe fundamentals. Candidates focused primarily on component-level or board-level testing will not meet the core requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform L10/system-level server platform validation, including server bring-up, hardware and firmware integration, diagnostics, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate complete server platforms involving third-party/OEM servers and internal or proprietary storage drives.
• Independently develop, debug, and maintain test automation scripts using Python and Shell.
• Design test cases, execute validation plans, analyze failures, and enhance automation coverage and reliability.
• Perform hands-on server management, diagnostics, and validation using BMC and Redfish APIs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and software layers, identifying system dependencies and isolating failure points.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including basic kernel-level debugging and platform-level issues.
• Investigate storage-related failures involving SSDs, HDDs, drive health, SMART attributes, and TLC/QLC technologies.
• Apply PCIe fundamentals to investigate system integration issues, device communication failures, and platform dependencies.
• Drive issues through debugging, corrective action, regression testing, and final closure rather than simply reporting defects.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in platform validation, system-level testing, hardware/software integration, and debugging.
• Strong hands-on experience with L10/system-level server validation, including complete platform integration and end-to-end diagnostics.
• Proven ability to write test automation scripts from scratch using Python and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with BMC, Redfish APIs, and server management/diagnostics.
• Strong root-cause analysis skills across hardware, firmware, and software.
• Solid hardware fundamentals and understanding of server architecture and system dependencies.
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting and basic kernel-level debugging.
