Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Platform Validation Engineer for a 06+ months contract in Santa Clara, CA, onsite. The role focuses on server/platform validation, bring-up, and diagnostics, with heavy emphasis on Linux, PCIe, and firmware interfaces.

Responsibilities include developing Python/Shell test scripts, performing end-to-end validation, and collaborating across teams to drive issues to closure. Strong hardware/design understanding and ODM/JDM exposure are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of server platform validation at L10 level.
• Strong understanding of hardware design and system dependencies.
• Proficiency in Linux systems and troubleshooting, including basic kernel-level debugging.
• Experience with storage fundamentals (SSD/HDD, TLC/QLC, SMART) and PCIe fundamentals.
• Ability to diagnose issues and drive them to resolution, not just filing bugs.
• Experience in PCIe BER testing, power qualification, thermal/airflow validation, and drive qualification.
• Familiarity with firmware, BIOS, UEFI, server bring-up, and datacenter validation.
• ODM/JDM experience.

Immediate need for a talented Platform Validation Engineer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Santa Clara, CA(Onsite).
