Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr Physician & Clinician Compensation Analyst to support the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs for Duke Health Integrated Practice and Duke School of Medicine physicians and clinicians. This role ensures pay structures, including clinical and academic pay elements, are market competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assist DHIP/SOM leadership in the administration of physician and clinician compensation programs.
    • Conduct market analyses for clinicians using industry benchmark data to determine competitive pay structures.
    • Partner with Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Faculty leadership to ensure alignment between compensation plans and organizational strategy.
    • Support the design and modeling of short- and long-term incentive plans, ensuring they drive performance and remain financially sustainable.
    • Provide analysis and decision support for all Salary, Effort, and Appointment changes.
  2. Ensure compliance with healthcare compensation regulations.
  3. Develop and maintain physician and clinician performance reports, monitor trends, and provide insights for leadership.
  4. Perform quantitative analysis for monthly accruals, payroll audits, and quarterly reconciliations.
  5. Ensure data integrity with all physician and clinician metrics and reporting systems.
Job Eligibility Requirements
  • B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in financial analysis, information gathering, reporting, or clinician contracting in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in analytical software, financial analysis tools, clinician contracting platforms, or statistics is preferred.
Job Hours

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
