TheSr Pharmacy Technicianwill perform the duties of a pharmacy technician,and advanced technician work, in compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards.

Your exceptional skills

Accurately and efficientlyselect medications for dispensing

Compound sterile products usingaseptic techniques

Deliver medications, and suppliesto the proper location in a timely fashion

Maintain contemporaryprofessional knowledge base

Participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement

Perform basic compounding and calculations

Communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner

Advanced tasks includeproblem solving of advanced complexity, technical specialist and traineron daily tasks and cases.

Your exceptional qualifications

Experience submitting prior authorizations preferred

High School Diploma or GED equivalent isrequired

2 - 4 years previous pharmaceutical experience isrequired

2 -3 years of Retail pharmacy experience preferred

National Certification (PTCB or NHA) required
