St Helena Hospital, located in the heart of Napa Valley, seeks a Hospital Pharmacist to oversee medication preparation and distribution within the pharmacy, ensuring safety and efficacy. You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support cross-department collaboration.
An ideal candidate has pharmacy education, a state pharmacist license, and experience in a hospital setting, with BLS and nursing licensure per state requirements.

Compounds, prepares, mixes, manufactures and dispenses medicines using a high level of technical and organizational skills. Uses critical thinking abilities. Oversees the proper handling, usage and storage of drugs in the pharmacy. Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies/procedures into daily operation and clinical activities. Supervises and trains assigned technical personnel and assumes responsibility for technical support activities within the pharmacy department.
At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment. For additional and specialty-specific requirement, please contact us
