Additional Information About the Role

The Senior Performance Measure Consultant will partner with their Manager in the Center for Clinical Excellence to oversee inpatient and outpatient regulatory quality metrics for East Region hospitals. Responsibilities include electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) portfolio implementation, performance analysis, workflow optimization, validation, and improvement. The role requires excellent communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary groups both internal and external to the organization. Familiarity with eCQMs, Epic data capture, and clinical informatics is highly preferred. Project management skills will also be utilized. This is a remote position; candidates must be located in MO or IL.

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

The Senior Performance Measures Consultant provides performance measurement and analytical support to aid clinical decision-making. This includes coordinating daily quality team operations, producing actionable reports, and serving as an expert in Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and regulatory quality measures. The role involves evaluating, recommending, and monitoring best practices to improve patient outcomes and maintain high-quality care. It also involves training, onboarding, and issue escalation support for team members.

Responsibilities
  1. Analyze provider quality performance data to identify trends and gaps in care; track weekly work for quality reporting.
  2. Assist leaders in establishing performance standards and metrics; develop workflows to ensure accurate measurement and tracking.
  3. Support medical record capture for HEDIS and quality measure review and abstraction of supplemental data.
  4. Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting the organization (e.g., MACRA, MIPS, eCQM).
  5. Provide guidance and training to the quality team; serve as subject matter expert and assist with process or technology issues.
Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study

Experience: 5-10 years

Experience: 10+ years
