Job summary

Piedmont Clinic is seeking a Sr. Performance Improvement Lead to drive system-wide performance improvement projects aligned with quality and safety goals. You will collaborate with clinical leaders and frontline staff to scope, plan, and implement interventions that deliver measurable results.

Ideal candidates bring 4 years of relevant PM or process improvement experience and a clinical background. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Nursing, Healthcare/Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
• Master's degree in Health Systems/Health Administration, Nursing, Business/Management, Public Health or related field preferred.
• 4 years of project management or process improvement experience with a Bachelor's degree required OR 3 years with a Master's degree required.
• 4 years of clinical practice/experience with relevant project management or process improvement experience required.
• Previous experience leading process improvement projects or Kaizen events required.
• Exceptional organizational skills required.
• Strong project management/interpersonal skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of system-wide performance improvement projects that support Piedmont's quality and safety priorities.
• Develop project plans, scope, and interventions with clinical leaders and staff across disciplines.
• Ensure timely execution and attainment of performance targets.
• Collaborate with senior administrators and frontline staff to implement improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Performance Improvement Lead owns a portfolio of system wide performance improvement projects, supporting Piedmont's quality and safety strategic priorities, such as Leapfrog Hospital Safety grades, Clinical Governance Councils, "Zero Harm" efforts, or any other improvement priorities, as they arise. Confidently utilizes a combination of process improvement and project management skillsets to scope projects, develop project plans, and collaborates with clinical leaders, senior administrators, and frontline staff, from multiple disciplines, to implement improvement interventions. Responsible for timely execution and attaining performance targets. Must be goal-oriented and demonstrate critical thinking skills.

• Previous experience leading process improvement projects or Kaizen events Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure , if candidate is an RN Required
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or CPHQ Preferred
