Job summary

Spotless Brands LLC is seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll across multiple states, including regular, off-cycle, and bonus payrolls. This role requires strong knowledge of wage and hour laws and payroll tax compliance.

You will serve as the primary payroll contact, audit and reconcile payroll data, and collaborate with HR and finance to ensure accurate employee records, garnishments, and timely adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field required.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and wage/hour laws.
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)

• Process and review end-to-end payroll cycles, including regular, off-cycle, and bonus payrolls across multiple states
• Manage wage garnishments, including reviewing and interpreting orders, ensuring accurate and timely setup in the payroll system, monitoring deductions, and answering inquiries
• Perform detailed payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with all payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate team member data and timely payroll adjustments, including but not limited to exempt status changes, benefits corrections, and other adjustments that may arise
• Reconciling quarterly and annual tax reporting for designated divisions
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field required
• CPP or FPC certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and wage/hour laws
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies)
