Position Overview: Ralliant is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst - AMER to deliver world-class payroll services and support to the Americas Region, contributing to an outstanding employee experience for one or more of our Operating Companies (OpCos).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain high standards in talent, coaching, and developing the organization into a strategic, high-performing payroll function that fuels Fortive’s success.
- Define strategy and standard work to validate payroll processing data and documents, ensuring they meet defined thresholds, while adhering to all audit requirements, payroll calendars, and payment timelines.
- Establish regional strategies for countries with Fortive presence (Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and U.S.).
- Coordinate with the Sr. Manager Global Audit, Tax, and Compliance to ensure end-to-end payroll processes across all countries meet audit timelines, comply with local legislation, and have documented understanding of funding for taxes, employee net pay, and third-party payments.
- Partner with the Sr. Global Payroll Systems Manager to ensure data from integrations is accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with the Director of Global Payroll to develop regional payroll processing strategies.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and eTime for payroll processing.
- Create standard procedures for all regional payroll processes, incorporating stakeholder input to align with regional policies, HR workstreams, and finance requirements.
- Develop processes for annual statements and employee communication strategies to reduce inquiries.
- Implement strategies for managing tax exemptions (e.g., student visas, LTC).
- Coordinate year-end processes with HR and Finance to include all taxable income.
- Manage payroll processing of equity for all OpCos under the shared service model, optimizing processes and leveraging improvements.
- Design visual management tools to identify areas for improvement, control limits, and measurement opportunities.
- Run standard and ad hoc reports as needed.
- Develop payroll calendar strategies to optimize staffing.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for continuous payroll process improvements.
- Ensure compliance and process termination and deceased wage payments according to local laws.
- Manage wage garnishments in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee governmental reporting and compliance activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 10+ years payroll experience.
- Extensive regional payroll experience with ADP services.
- Experience in countries where Fortive operates.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools like Miro and Teams Canvas.
- Regional payroll certifications preferred.
- Multilingual abilities in English, Portuguese, and Spanish preferred.
