Summary
The AMER Regional Payroll Manager is a key role responsible for leading the payroll function to deliver world-class payroll support and services to our colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy and standard work to validate payroll processing data and documents, ensuring they meet defined thresholds, audit requirements, payroll calendars, and payment timelines.
- Establish regional strategy for countries with employee presence (United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia).
- Coordinate with the Director of Global Payroll to ensure end-to-end payroll processes in all countries comply with legislation, meet audit timelines, and are well-documented regarding funding for taxes, employee net pay, and third-party payments.
- Partner with the Payroll Systems Analyst to ensure data integration accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the Director of Global Payroll to define regional payroll processing strategies.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and eTime for payroll processing.
- Develop standard procedures for all regional payroll processes, including stakeholder input, to align with policies, HR workstreams, and finance requirements.
- Design processes for annual statements and employee communication strategies to reduce inquiries.
- Implement global strategies for managing tax exemptions (e.g., student visas, WA LTC).
- Plan year-end processes in collaboration with HR and Finance to include all taxable income.
- Execute strategies for processing equity in payroll, aligned with global policies.
- Develop strategies for processing all operating companies under a shared service model, focusing on process optimization.
- Establish visual management strategies to identify areas for improvement and measure performance.
- Run standard and ad hoc reports effectively.
- Develop payroll calendar strategies to optimize staffing for payroll processing.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with country legislations for wage payments to terminated and deceased employees.
- Define strategies for wage garnishments and government reporting compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 7+ years of payroll experience.
- 7-10 years’ experience with regional payroll models using ADP services.
- Experience in countries with a presence (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia).
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools like Miro and Teams Canvas.
- Regional payroll certifications preferred.
- Multilingual: English required; Spanish preferred.

Additional Information
This position is eligible for bonus and equity as part of the total compensation. The salary range is 89,200.00 - 165,600.00 (local currency).
