Job summary

Piedmont Clinic is seeking a quality and patient safety professional to lead surveillance and analysis of clinical and operational processes, supporting the Patient Safety Management Program.

This role conducts multidisciplinary root cause analyses, safety rounding, and internal audits, and drives ongoing quality improvement by collecting and disseminating reliable information on quality, safety, and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare, business administration, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare or comparable high-reliability field with at least 3 years in process improvement/quality.
• Experience supporting patient safety and quality initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in surveillance and analysis of clinical and operational processes.
• Performs systematic reviews for Piedmont Clinic’s Patient Safety Management Program including root cause analysis, safety rounding and internal audits.
• Drives quality improvement through timely collection and dissemination of information related to quality, safety, and service.
