Job summary

Community Health Network is looking for a Senior Patient Care Technician to support patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will help with bathing, feeding, vital signs, and transportation, while maintaining safety and compassion in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, hands-on clinical experience or CNA status, and solid computer/documentation skills. Training is full-time, with collaboration across the care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Three months of clinical experience or CNA license, or current enrollment in nursing school.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work-related purposes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing and assistance with elimination.
• Assist with bed making, meal service, and feeding support.
• Transport patients and patient-related materials safely and promptly.
• Greet and orient patients; collaborate with the care team to deliver services.
• Record observations, vitals, and relevant documentation accurately.

The Senior Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs direct patient care such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and vital signs. Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Greets and orients patients to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patients. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.

Additional Requirements
