Job summary

Community Health Network is hiring a Senior Patient Care Technician for night shift. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, performing direct patient care such as bathing, feeding assistance, vital signs, and transport of patients.

You will greet patients, orient them to the area and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth operations. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to use a computer for documentation, strong communication skills, and a CNA

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care such as bathing, elimination assistance, bed making and vital signs.
• Transports patients and materials in a safe, timely manner.
• Greets and orients patients to the care area.
• Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions.
• Provides additional select care to patients and collaborates with team.
• Performs other duties as directed by the RN.

Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Greets and orients patients to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patients. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes

Additional requirements

• Must be able to lift
• Must be available for one week of full-time training
• Three (3) months of Clinical Experience or CNA license required OR currently enrolled in Nursing school
