Job summary

Community Health Network is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff with direct patient care, comfortable communication with patients, families, and care teams, and efficient transport of patients and materials. Under RN supervision, duties include bathing, vital signs, meal assistance, and care coordination with the health team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

• Transports patients and related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Greets and orients patients to the patient care area.
• Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions.
• Provides additional select care to patients.
• Collaborates with other team members to perform services as directed.
