This senior-level consulting position, recognized as an authority within their practice, provides high-quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. The role involves leading solution design and implementation, ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions within time and budget constraints.

Responsibilities include analyzing business needs to ensure Oracle solutions meet customer objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. The role requires exercising judgment in selecting methods for delivering complex applications and technology solutions, providing guidance to project teams, influencing customer leadership, supporting business development, and resolving complex customer issues.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 4 years of consulting; prior team leadership or management experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
• Effective communication, rapport-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Sr. Oracle Database Engineer / Administrator with over 10 years of Oracle database administration experience supporting large-scale or enterprise-level database services.

Skills

• Extensive experience with Oracle database versions 10 and above, including database design, modeling, migration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, RAC, RMAN backup & recovery, Streams / GoldenGate, Data Guard, Database Vault, Enterprise Manager, label security, and data migration.
• BS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong independent work skills, communication, technical writing, and the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Desired experience with Oracle Exadata, Oracle database appliance, and ZFS Storage Appliance.
• COMPTIA Security+ CE (IAT 2).

This role requires obtaining and maintaining a US Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with routine polygraphs. Candidates with an active clearance are preferred.
