Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Sr Operator to perform a range of manufacturing tasks with a focus on complex operations to support production goals. Night and day shifts are available (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) in a fast-paced facility.

You will set up equipment, monitor process parameters, conduct quality checks, and collaborate across teams. Requires 1–3 years of factory experience, basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of factory experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
  • Ability to follow safety procedures inclusive of Nestlé Life Saving Rules.
  • Ability to read/write/speak English and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, clean, operate, and adjust all equipment in the assigned department.
  • Understand inventory requirements and adjustments.
  • Oversee and manage process parameters to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and control all process parameters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and perform data entry as required.
  • Adhere to cGMP and SOPs and perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of the Sr Operator role is to perform a variety of tasks within the manufacturing facility as needed, with a primary focus in more complex operations. The job exists to ensure the smooth operation of the department and to contribute to the overall production goals.

Shift: Night and Day shift available; (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, clean, operate, and adjust all equipment in the assigned department
  • Understanding of inventory requirements and adjustments
  • Overseeing and managing process parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitors and controls all process parameters
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure compliance with necessary procedures and appropriate documentation including accurate scaling and measuring
  • Operate automated systems through the Human Machine Interface (HMI) within the assigned area.
  • Perform in-process checks, monitor and conduct quality checks to ensure product meets dimensional and appearance requirements.
  • Required to competently operate various machinery independently as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrates attention to detail while performing data entry tasks using paper records, electronic devices, PC hardware/software, iPads etc.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a clean, organized work environment while maintaining consistent attendance
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) meeting required manufacturing standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a prior factory environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills. (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
  • Required to utilize and understand basic digital devices such as computers, iPad, etc.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures inclusive of Nestle’s Life Saving Rules
  • Ability to speak, read, write in English and comprehend simple instructions
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Capable of utilizing and understanding basic digital devices such as computers, iPad, etc.
  • Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments, fostering cross-functional engagement to meet expectations effectively.
