Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising in food service, concessions or event venues preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food and beverage operations during assigned events and shifts.
• Lead, coach, and support hourly team members across concessions, premium areas, bars, and warehouse staff as assigned.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards across all service locations.
• Monitor staffing levels, break schedules, labor deployment, and operational adjustments.
• Verify compliance with food safety, health, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate updates, event details, and service expectations.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to warehouse and management teams.
• Ensure cash handling, POS procedures, and financial controls are followed.
• Perform opening, operational, and closing procedures for assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across all locations.
• Complete event reports, incident documentation, and other operational records.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Support special events, concerts, sporting events, and other venue operations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Part-Time Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day food and beverage operations during events, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, food safety compliance, and team member performance. This position provides leadership to frontline staff, supports venue operations, and helps deliver a positive guest experience while maintaining company standards and profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise food and beverage operations during assigned events and shifts.
• Lead, coach, and support hourly team members, including concessions, premium areas, bars, and warehouse staff as assigned.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained throughout all service locations.
• Monitor staffing levels and assist with break schedules, labor deployment, and operational adjustments.
• Verify compliance with food safety, health, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate operational updates, event details, and service expectations.
• Resolve guest concerns and service issues professionally and promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to warehouse and management teams.

• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, and large venue environments.

Work Environment

This position operates in a live entertainment and event venue setting, supporting concerts, family shows, sporting events, and special events. Work schedules are based on event needs and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
