Salary Range $94,000 - $120,000*

Job Description:

Role Summary: The Sr. Operations Manager (Sr. OM) oversees end-to-end operations across assigned departments or shifts and serves as the senior point of escalation for those areas. This role is responsible for delivering operational goals, managing key metrics, and setting strategy while leading a cross-functional team of managers and hourly employees. The Sr. OM ensures consistent coaching and development, drives safe and efficient processes, and partners with the Change Management team to lead successful project implementations. This role plays a key part in aligning operations with Saks Global’s leadership standards and safety expectations.

Role Description:

● Monitors operational metrics and business performance

● Owns financial and labor planning for areas of responsibility

● Coordinates and conducts safety audits: including four corner walks, 5S audits, behavioral based audits, etc.

● Performs strategic planning for the next 3,6,12 months with other key stakeholders

● Provides development plans for direct reports

● Conducts regularly scheduled check-in conversations and provide meaningful feedback Leads all manager, and town hall meetings for applicable shifts

● Supports team members through the use and implementation of A3’s to achieve operational goals and critical KPI thresholds

● Creates contingency plans to keep operations running and mitigate against disruptions

● Drives initiatives which support operational priorities; Safety, People, Quality, DEA, Volume and Costs

● Required to have sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to standing for long ● periods of time (up to 10 hours), lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly, walking long distances repeatedly, bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs repeatedly, manual dexterity of hands to process orders, push or pull up to 50lbs

Key Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree

● Relevant experience in manufacturing, distribution logistics, retail.

● Acute business acumen to better manage change

● Strong leadership skills

● Proven track record of delivering on KPIs

● Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts, and problem solving methodology

● Experience in analyzing metrics and data-driven decision-making

● Must have understanding of the English language both written and verbal.

● Strong verbal communication skills and written communication efforts.

● Strong interpersonal skills to deal and communicate with teammates and clients across all levels of the organization.

● Good problem-solving skills to manage conflicts and employee concerns

● Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

● Excellent organizational and efficiency skills.

● Demonstrates enthusiasm in a team environment to deliver positive results.

● Must have schedule/shift flexibility to adjust to business demands. ● This role is an onsite position.

● Must be able to hear equipment and warning signals.
