Role Overview

Navitas Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Senior NPI Program Manager to lead the introduction of GaN and SiC power semiconductor products from concept through commercial launch and manage the NPI PM team. This is a focused NPI role responsible for driving structured, gate-based product introduction programs across our power semiconductor portfolio for AI infrastructure, electrification, and energy markets. In addition to owning complex NPI programs end-to-end, this individual will provide direct people management and mentorship to junior NPI program managers and interns within the team, helping to build the depth and capability of Navitas's NPI function.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end NPI program management for GaN and SiC power product introductions — from program kickoff through device qualification, commercial release, and production handoff.
• Define and execute structured NPI plans including work breakdown structures, program schedules, milestone definitions, gate criteria, and resource requirements across multiple concurrent programs.
• Lead all NPI gate reviews — including concept, design, qualification, and launch gates — ensuring gate packages are complete, criteria are met, and open actions are tracked to closure.
• Drive cross-functional NPI execution across R&D, process engineering, applications, quality, operations, and supply chain; hold teams accountable to NPI commitments and accelerate program risks proactively.
• Manage foundry, OSAT, and component supplier NPI coordination — including qualification lot scheduling, sample delivery tracking, test data review, and supplier corrective action management.
• Own NPI program risk management — identify schedule, technical, and supply risks early; develop and execute mitigation plans to protect program launch timelines.
• Develop and present executive NPI status reports, program dashboards, and launch readiness reviews to senior leadership on a regular cadence.
• Directly manage and mentor junior NPI program managers and interns within the team — assigning program responsibilities, providing day-to-day guidance, conducting performance feedback, and supporting their professional development.
• Build and improve Navitas NPI processes, gate criteria, templates, and tracking tools; drive standardization and repeatability across the NPI program portfolio.
• Apply AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to streamline NPI reporting, automate documentation, and accelerate program analysis.
• Leverage data analysis and dashboarding tools to track NPI KPIs, monitor qualification progress, and surface program health insights for stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements, product specifications, and market timelines into actionable NPI program plans; maintain alignment between engineering deliverables and business launch objectives.
• Use Microsoft 365 tools — including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, Project, and SharePoint — to manage NPI schedules, program data, and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of professional NPI program management experience within the semiconductor industry — specifically managing structured new product introduction programs through a gate-based or equivalent process.
• Demonstrated track record of independently leading semiconductor NPI programs from concept through qualification and commercial product launch.
• Direct experience managing or mentoring junior team members, interns, or program coordinators in a professional setting.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals, IC or power product development processes, and the key technical milestones in a semiconductor NPI lifecycle.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional NPI execution across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Strong NPI risk management skills — able to identify program risks early, quantify schedule impact, and lead mitigation planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite including Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modeling), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Planner, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with semiconductor wafer fabrication, back-end assembly, and test processes; experience working directly with foundry and OSAT partners on NPI programs.
• Knowledge of semiconductor qualification and reliability standards including AEC-Q100/Q101, JEDEC, FMEA, and PPAP as applied within an NPI context.
• Experience managing NPI supplier qualification programs within a global Asia-Pacific supply chain.
• Experience with project or program management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or Jira for NPI scheduling and cross-team milestone tracking.
• Working proficiency with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude for NPI reporting, documentation, and analytical workflows.
• Experience with data analysis or dashboarding tools such as Excel Power Query, Power BI, or equivalent for tracking NPI metrics and program status.
• Excellent executive communication skills — able to synthesize complex NPI program status into clear, concise updates for senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on NPI experience with GaN, Silicon Carbide (SiC), or Wide Bandgap (WBG) power semiconductor products, including device qualification and commercial release.
• PMP certification or equivalent formal project management training (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
• Exposure to AI hardware, data center power systems, EV powertrain, or renewable energy power conversion applications.
• Experience with PLM or ERP systems (e.g., Agile PLM, SAP, Oracle) in the context of semiconductor NPI and product lifecycle management.
• Track record of building or significantly improving NPI gate processes, program tracking systems, or launch readiness frameworks in a semiconductor organization.
