Job summary

Pscfl in South Florida is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator who works under the Senior Manager of Clinical Trial Operations. The SCRC manages day-to-day study activities, ensures protocol compliance, GCP and IRB requirements, and may recruit subjects and manage data entry across CTMS systems.

This role also mentors junior research staff, maintains regulatory documents, coordinates visits, and communicates with investigators, sponsors and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of research experience OR Associate's degree and 6 years of research experience OR 7 years of research experience.
• Experience in pediatric clinical research in a hospital setting.
• Clinical research certification (CCRC, CCRP, CRA) and IATA certification.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with business development efforts and attend investigator meetings.
• Collect and maintain accurate patient data for submission to Sponsor and coordinate specimen shipments.
• Communicate study objectives to hospital units and establish rapport with Principal Investigator.
• Schedule and facilitate study monitor visits and coordinate communications with Sponsor.
• Ensure compliance with NCRI, AAHRPP, HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
• Enter data into CTMS and provide status updates to research staff.
• Mentor junior staff and keep electronic patient files up to date.
• Work adjusted hours to accommodate subject visits and manage interventional trials.
• Collaborate with investigators to screen and recruit patients for trials.
