Job summary

Nicklaushealth in South Florida is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (SCRC) to independently manage complex studies, ensuring protocol adherence, GCP, and IRB requirements while coordinating day-to-day trial activities.

The role involves subject recruitment, data management, regulatory compliance, CTMS data entry, training junior staff, and collaboration with investigators, sponsors, and hospital teams; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of research experience (OR) Associate's degree and 6 years of research experience (OR) 7 years of research experience
• Experience in pediatric clinical research in a hospital setting.
• Clinical research certification (CCRC, CCRP, CRA) and IATA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists management with business development efforts.
• Attends investigator meetings, pre-study visits, and initiation meetings.
• Collects and maintains accurate patient data for submission to Sponsor and coordinates specimen collection/shipments.
• Communicates study objectives/procedures to hospital units and establishes rapport with PI.
• Schedules and facilitates study monitor visits and communications between PI and Sponsor.
• Complies with Research Finance Compliance policies and procedures.
• Interacts with patients and families to recruit study subjects and ensure protocol compliance.
• Responsible for patient enrollment as determined by Research Management.
• Follows GCP and FDA guidelines for clinical research; updates procedures.
• Enters required data into CTMS and provides updates to staff.
• Assists with training initiatives for new/junior staff.
• Keeps electronic patient files up-to-date in e-regulatory system.
• Works adjusted hours to accommodate subject visits.
• Works on clinical trials all phases.
• Collaborates with investigators to screen and recruit patients.
