Job summary

SK Hynix Memory Solutions in San Jose seeks a senior-level Network Engineer to design, deploy, configure, and manage a broad spectrum of network and security infrastructure across WAN, data-center, campus, wireless, firewalls, routers, switches, network-monitoring tools, and VPN solutions.

Responsibilities include documenting designs, installing gear, validating performance, performing maintenance, enforcing security policies, and leading large projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or Associate degree+CCIE written exam).
• Current CCNP certification; ambition to obtain CCIE (full exam).
• Minimum of 10years experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex network infrastructures.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Arista EOS.
• Advanced expertise in routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP, STP, VRF, and IPv4 subnetting.
• Strong security background: 802.1X, PEAP-MSCHAPv2, TACACS+, SYSLOG, Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, ISE, and access points; ability to perform wireless site surveys.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and IP services (Infoblox DHCP/DNS).
• Experience managing Cisco UCS environments with virtual-machine orchestration.
• Proven ability to manage large- scale technical projects with minimal guidance.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; proactive, mission‑driven attitude.

We are seeking a senior-level Network Engineer to design, deploy, configure, and manage a broad spectrum of network and security infrastructure. The role includes responsibility for WAN, data-center, campus, wireless, firewalls, routers, switches, network-monitoring tools, and VPN solutions. Experience with data-center relocations and new campus network design is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update existing network diagrams and produce \"to-be\" designs for new campus, data-center, labs, and office environments.
  
  
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation for WAN, LAN, data-center, wireless, and firewall designs and installations.
  
  
  
  


• Implementation & Commissioning
  
  
  
  • Install, configure, and test routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, and associated software.
  
  
  • Validate hardware, software, and connections to ensure proper configuration and performance.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, including software/firmware upgrades and equipment refreshes.
