Description

Summary

We are seeking a senior network engineer with extensive experience in enterprise-scale network architecture. The successful candidate will work with the full-time network team as a subject matter expert on network infrastructure. Effective communication skills are essential to facilitate discussions, make recommendations, and offer new perspectives, all while understanding and considering other viewpoints. The goal is to deliver optimal solutions aligned with modern design principles or to resolve existing issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will often serve as a primary contact for the clinical team and represent the infrastructure team as an extension of our staff. Responsibilities include scheduling and attending meetings, driving discussions to clarify next steps, documenting project milestones and deadlines, and following up regularly to ensure efforts are aligned with project timelines. You may also be required to present project statuses using PowerPoint or other formats as needed.

Skills:

Required certifications and skills include:

• CCIE (Written and Lab) required
• Extensive hands-on experience designing, supporting, and configuring enterprise networks such as Cisco Nexus 7k/9k, Data Center networking, SD-WAN, HPE SD-WAN, WAN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Cisco DNAC, ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco VPN, Cisco Wireless, Network security (segmentation, ISE, etc.), F5 BIG-IP, Cisco VXLAN
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within large enterprise infrastructures
• Quick adaptability, self-driven attitude, and ability to familiarize quickly with existing architecture
• Willingness to work after hours for planned maintenance and support escalations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
